Source: Cytonectin was isolated from a cell lysate of normal human third trimester placenta by reversed-order OFarrell gel electrophoresis (ROOGE). Purified cytonectin was used to immunize a chicken. After multiple immunizations, eggs were collected and IgY was purified from the egg yolk.
