Purification Method: Egg-yolk derived IgY, affinity purified on a ProteinL-agarose column.

Source: Chickens were immunized with purified recombinant protein L (a cell surface protein from Peptostreptococcus magnus). After multiple immunizations in Freund's adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY fraction purified. Antibodies were immunoaffinity-purified from a protein L-agarose column and conjugated to horseradish peroxidase.

Formulation: Phosphate buffered saline‚ pH 7.2‚ 50% glycerol with 0.1% 2-chloroactamide.
