Background: Dipeptidyl peptidase-9 (DPP9) is a serine exopeptidase that cleaves X-prolinedipeptides from the N-terminus of polypeptides. DPP9 exhibits similar activity tothat of DPP4 but unlike DPP4, DPP9 is not membrane bound. DPP9 activity has beenlinked to several diseases, including type 2 diabetes, obesity and cancer.
Description: Recombinant human DPP9 (dipeptidyl peptidase 9), isoform 1 (short form), encompassing amino acids 1-863(end). This construct contains an N-terminal GST-tag. The recombinant protein was affinity purified, expressed in a Baculovirus infected Sf9 cell expression system.
