Background: In precipitating techniques as immunoelectrophoresis and double radial immunodiffusion to identify the presence of IgG; as secondary antibody to precipitate the immunoglobulin in normal turkey serum; to prepare an immunoadsorbent for the production of Ig-free turkey serum, plasma or non-Ig preparations.
Source: Purified normal IgG isolated from pooled turkey serum. Freund’s complete adjuvant is used in the first step of the immunization procedure.
Specificity: Precipitating polyclonal Goat antiSerum to Turkey IgG, heavy and light chains.
Formulation: Delipidated, heat inactivated lyophilized stable whole serum No preservative added, as it may interfere with the antibody activity. No foreign protein added. Total protein and IgG concentration in the antiserum are comparable to those of pooled goat serum
