Notes: Kisspeptin-10 is a neuropeptide expressed in zebrafish brains, ovaries, and testes and is involved in gonadal development and steroid expression.{72012} It increases levels of the mRNA encoding luteinizing hormone (Lh) receptor, as well as progestin receptor a (Pra) and Prb, in isolated zebrafish ovarian follicles when used at a concentration of 10 ng/ml. Kisspeptin-10 increases luteinizing hormone serum levels in female, but not male, goldfish when administered at doses of 0.1 and 1 µg/g.{72011}
