Products from BPS Bioscience require a minimum order value above 400€
Encompassing Amino Acids: 61-394(end)
Applications: Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling.
Assay Conditions: 50 µl reaction mix (20 mM phosphate buffer pH 7.4, 20 µM S-adenosyl methionine, and 1-5 ng methyltransferase PRMT8) added to the wells coated with the substrate. Incubate at RT for 1 hr. Then, add secondary HRP-labeled antibody and incubate 30 min. Finally, add HRP chemiluminescent substrates and read luminesence.
Background: Membrane-associated arginine methyltransferase that can both catalyze the formation of omega-N monomethylarginine (MMA) and asymmetrical dimethylarginine (aDMA). Able to mono- and dimethylate EWS protein; however its precise role toward EWS remains unclear as it still interacts with fully methylated EWS.
