Encompassing Amino Acids: 20-865(end)
Application: Useful for for animal immunization and ELISA.
Assay Conditions: Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA.
Background: PROM1, also known as prominin 1 or CD133, is an important stem cell surface marker and regulator of cancer progression. This protein is expressed on cellular membrane protrusions and is studied for its role in cell differentiation, proliferation and apoptosis. PROM1 looks to be a promising therapeutic target for certain cancers, retinal degenerative disorders, and inflammatory bowel disease.
Biological Activity: Immobilized PROM1 at 5 µg/mL can bind Anti-PROM1 recombinant antibody , the EC50 is ‰¤2 ng/mL.
Description: Human PROM1 (Prominin-1), also known as CD133, protein (VLP), encompassing amino acids 20-865(end). This construct contains a C-terminal His-tag (10xHis) and was produced using VLP (virus-like particle) technology.
Endotoxin Level: <1 EU/µg (determined by LAL method)
Format: Lyophilized powder
Formulation: Lyophilized from a 0.2 µm filtered solution of PBS, 6% Trehalose, pH 7.4.
Reconstitution: It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 µg/mL in ddH2O.
Storage Stability: Stored at -20°C for 2 years. After reconstitution, it is stable at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C for longer (with carrier protein). It is recommended to freeze aliquots at -20°C or -80°C for extended storage.
