Clone: Polyclonal
Background: The reactivity of the antiserum is directed to IgE as tested against mouse sera and a panel of purified homogenous immunoglobulins. The precipitation reaction obtained against serum containing monoclonal IgE shows a reaction of full identity with the precipitation reaction with the immunogen. No reaction is obtained with normal mouse serum. To identify and measure IgE, antigen or antibody, at the cellular and subcellular level by immunofluorescence staining of appropriately treated cell and tissue substrates, and to demonstrate circulating antibodies in serodiagnostic microbiology and autoimmune diseases; to identify a specific antigen or immune complex using a reference antibody of mouse origin in the middle layer of the indirect test procedure. This immunoconjugate is not pre-diluted. The optimum working dilution of each conjugate should be established by titration before being used. Excess labelled antibody must be avoided because it may cause high unspecific background staining and interfere with the specific signal.
Source: Pools of highly purified homogenous IgE isolated from mouse serum. Freund’s complete adjuvant is used in the first step of the immunization procedure.
Specificity: Tetramethylrhodamine isothiocyanate–conjugated IgG fraction of polyclonal Rabbit antiSerum to Mouse IgE, Fc specific
Formulation: Fluorochrome-coupled purified hyperimmune rabbit IgG lyophilized from a solution in phosphate buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.2). No preservative added, as it may interfere with the antibody activity.
