Abbreviation: Secretogranin 3;SCG3
Target Synonym: Secretogranin-3;Secretogranin III;SgIII;
Target Species: Human
Expression Host: HEK293 Cells
Fusion Tag: C-His
UNIProt ID: Q8WXD2
Background: Secretogranin-3(SCG3) is a member of the chromogranin/secretogranin family of neuroendocrine secretory proteins. SCG3 is expressed in brain, heart, kidney, liver and skeletal muscle. It may serve as precursors for biologically active peptides. Some granins have been shown to function as helper proteins in sorting and proteolytic processing of prohormones; however, the function of this protein is unknown.
Sequence: Phe20-Leu468
Purity: > 90 % as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: Lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered solution of 20mM PB, 150mM NaCl, pH 7.4.
Normally 5 % - 8 % trehalose, mannitol and 0.01% Tween80 are added as protectants before lyophilization.
Please refer to the specific buffer information in the printed manual.
Endotoxin: < 1.0 EU per ug of the protein as determined by the LAL method.
