Description: The SMYD4 Chemiluminescent Assay Kit is designed to measure SMYD4activity for screening and profiling applications. The SMYD4 Chemiluminescent Assay Kit comesin a convenient format, with 96-well plate precoated with a specific substrate, the antibody againstmethylated lysine residue of Histone H3, a secondary HRP-labeled antibody, Sadenosylmethionine,methyltransferase assay buffer, and purified SMYD4 enzyme for 96 enzymereactions. The key to the SMYD4 Chemiluminescent Activity Assay Kit is a highly specificantibody that recognizes methylated residue of Histone H3. With this kit, only three simple stepsare required for methyltransferase detection. First, S-adenosylmethionine is incubated with asample containing assay buffer and methyltransferase enzyme. Next, primary antibody is added.Finally, the plate is treated with an HRP-labeled secondary antibody followed by addition of theHRP substrate to produce chemiluminescence that can then be measured using achemiluminescence reader.
