AccuGENE TAE (Tris-Acetate-EDTA) buffer is made from Tris, EDTA and Acetic acid. It is often used in procedures involving nucleic acids, the most common being electrophoresis. TAE has a lower buffer capacity than TBE and can easily become exhausted, but linear, double stranded DNA runs faster in TAE.. AccuGENE Electrophoresis Buffers are formulated to match Lonza's Reliant, Latitude ,and PAGEr Precast Gels, Long Ranger Gel Solution sequencing products, and the MDE Gel Solution product line. AccuGENE Buffers for DNA, RNA, and protein electrophoresis are prepared with high quality reagents and use 18 megOhm water. Products are filtered using a 0.45-micron filter.
