Applications: WB, DB, ELISA, ICC, IF

Background: Glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase is a key enzyme in glycolysis that catalyzes the first step of the pathway by converting D-glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate (G3P) into 3-phospho-D-glyceroyl phosphate. Antibodies to GADPH are often used as "loading controls" because the enzyme is so ubiquitous.

Clone Number: clone GA1R

Cross Reactivity: Predicted to work with a wide range of other species.

Description: Affinity purified Anti-GAPDH clone GA1R, mouse IgG1. Recognizes native and denatured forms of GAPDH (~37 kDa). Applications: Western Blotting(1:1000-10000), Dot Blot, ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence assays. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

Format: Aqueous buffer solution

Formulation: 1 mg/ml in 10 mM PBS, pH 7.2, with 0.05% NaN3

Immunogen: Recombinant GAPDH.

Purification: Protein A Affinity Chromatography

Storage Stability: Store at -20°C for up to 2 years. Centrifuge after first thaw to maximize product recovery. Aliquot to avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Aliquots may be stored at +4°C for 1-2 weeks.

Warnings: Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.

Biosafety Level: Not applicable (BSL-1)
