Target: CD14.
Clone: UCHM-1.
Specificity: Anti-CD14 In Vivo Antibody - Low Endotoxin (UCHM-1) recognizes Human CD14. Anti-Human CD14 recognizes a (Mr 55 kDa) cell surface glycoprotein expressed on most peripheral blood monocytes.
Purification method: This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype.
Antigen Distribution: The CD14 antigen is expressed on approximately 70-95% of human peripheral blood monocytes. It is also found on other cells of myeloid lineage including granulocytes, dendritic reticulum cells and pleural phagocytic cells.
Background: Cluster of differentiation 14 also known as CD14 is a cell surface glycoprotein expressed in monocytes, macrophages, polymorphonuclear neutrophils, chondrocytes, B-cells, dendritic cells. CD14 functions to enhance activation of cells by lipopolysaccharide (LPS).
Concentration: 1.0 - 5.0 mg/ml.
Formulation: 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline (PBS) pH 7.2, 150 mM NaCl with no carrier protein, potassium or preservatives added.
Purity: >95% by SDS-PAGE and analyzed by silver stain.
Endotoxin: ≤ 1.0 EU/mg as determined by the LAL method.
Aggregation: Aggregation level ≤ 5%.
