Target: CD86.

Clone: GL1.

Specificity: Anti-CD86 In Vivo Antibody - Ultra Low Endotoxin (GL1) recognizes an epitope on Mouse CD86.

Purification method: This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype.

Antigen Distribution: B cells and T cells (upregulated upon activation), macrophages, dendritic cells, and astrocytes.

Background: CD86, also known as B7-2, is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein and a member of the Ig gene superfamily. CD86 is a ligand for CD28 and CD152 (CTLA-4). CD86 is related to the CD80 molecule and functions as a counterreceptor for CD28 and CTLA-4. The GL1 clone has been shown to provide critical signals for T-Cell-dependent responses in vivo and in vitro.

Immunogen: LPS-activated CBA/Ca mouse splenic B cells.

Concentration: 1.0 mg/ml.

Formulation: 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline (PBS) pH 7.2, 150 mM NaCl with no carrier protein, potassium or preservatives added.

Purity: >98% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC.

Endotoxin: ≤ 0.75 EU/mg as determined by the LAL method.

Aggregation: Aggregation level ≤ 1%.

Use: Products are for research use only. Not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
