Streptococcus pneumoniae Pep27 is a small, secreted peptide consisting of 27 amino acids initially described as a "death signal peptide".
Application Notes (Clone): The dissociation constant (Kd) of the original human scFv version of this antibody was 1.1 µM as measured in an ELISA. This antibody specifically detected Pep27 in an immunoblot and in an environment mimicking in vivo conditions, demonstrated in human serum (Kim et al. 2018; PMID: 29753735).
