Clone: MCS-1.

Conjugate: APC.

Immunogen: X-hapten on lacto-N-fucose pentaosyl lll.

Storage Buffer: The reagent is provided in aqueous buffered solution containing protein stabilizer, and ≤0.09% sodium azide (NaN3).

Recommended Usage: CD15 clone MCS-1, mAb intended for identification/enumeration of human neutrophils, monoblast precursor of myeloid lineage, eosinoph, monos, but not basoph & lymph by FCM. Effective for direct IF staining of human tissue for FCM using ≤1 μg/106cells.

Description: This antibody reacts with the CD15- antigen (the FAL structure) of human polymorphonuclear cells. The monoclonal antibody reacts with the promyelocytes, myelocytes and polymorphonuclear cells. After neuraminidase treatment of cells the FAL structure is expressed on all cells of the monocytic and myelocytic lineage. This monoclonal antibody does not react with platelets and cells of the T and B lymphocyte lineage.

The CD15 antigen is the X-hapten on lacto-N-fucose pentaosyl lll, which is expressed on circulating granulocytes or tissue granulocytes as well as neutrophils and eosinophils. The CD15 antibody recognizes the carbohydrate structure 3-fucosyl-N-acetyl-lactosamine. It specifically labels neutrophils, eosinophils and monoblastoid precursor cells of the myeloid lineage.
