Stable Cell Lines

Stable cell lines

Stable cell lines are an important tool for drug screening, gene function studies or protein production. Stable cell lines represent a homogenous population, rising from selected clones and maintain the expression of target protein stably over generations.  Szabo-Scandic offers several stable expressing cells lines for membrane receptor research suitable for ligand binding assays, SPR, antibody selection, NMR and X-Ray crystallography.

Celllutions / Defined Cell Lines (PETRA?)

CELLutions Biosystems (a company of CEDARLANE) builds a bridge between the academic and biopharmaceutical community with the goal of making new and innovative development tools available for basic research, drug development and therapeutic applications. This provides the opportunity to better understand complex human diseases and to develop new and effective treatments for them.

Specific Membrane Receptor Cell Lines

Membrane receptors play a key role in cellular processes, including the transport of molecules, signal transmission, the use of energy, and the maintenance of cell and tissue structures. Genome sequencing has shown that about 30% of genes coding for membrane receptors. In addition, they are pharmacologically significant, as half of the current drugs target the membrane receptors.

The manufacturer eEnzyme offers a wide range of stable cell lines that express specific membrane receptors and therefore they are ideally suited for research on the respective receptors.
