Poietics Normal Human Preadipocytes (HprAD) are isolated from subcutaneous or visceral fat from normal (non-diabetic) donors. Preadipocytes from diabetic donors are available as a separate product. Pertinent additional donor information, including Body Mass Index (BMI) may be available by contacting Scientific Support. Cryopreserved Poietics Normal Human Preadipocytes (HprAD) are guaranteed to contain ≥1 million or ≥4 million (subcutaneous only) cells per ampoule and test positive for adipogenic differentiation. All cells test negative for mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi. HIV-1, hepatitis B and hepatitis C are not detected for all donors and/or cell lots.
