Description: This liquid Growth Medium is a complete medium optimized to culture select BPS Bioscience cell lines.
Formulation: Growth Medium 6A (BPS Bioscience #79542): Thaw Medium 6 (BPS Bioscience #60183) plus 400 µg/ml of Geneticin (G418), 1 µg/ml of Puromycin (InvivoGen, #ant-pr-1), and 100 µg/ml Hygromycin B.Thaw Medium 6 (BPS Bioscience #60183): DMEM medium supplemented with 10% FBS, 1% Penicillin/Streptomycin.
Mycoplasma Testing: Sterile filtered (0.2 µm) and Mycoplasma-free. Each lot is tested for growth of recombinant cells. All components are low endotoxin. FBS is ISIA-certified and sourced from the United States of America.
Storage Stability: Upon receipt, the medium should be stored in the dark at 4°C. Do not exceed 37°C. When stored in the dark at 4°C, the product is stable for six months after first thaw.
Warnings: Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
