The Corning Vortex mixes your samples and reagents quickly, effectively and at different adjustable speeds with minimal vibrations thanks to the balanced drive. The device works either continuously or in "touch" mode. Numerous attachments are optionally available.
The shakers from Corning are available in different versions. The Corning Digital Microplate Shaker has a digital setting option for speed and running time with just one button. The supplied stainless steel platform offers space for up to 4 microtiter plates. The shaker can work safely in controlled temperature ranges of 4-65°C with an orbital of 3mm.
Corning offers three different centrifuges. The Corning Mini Microcentrifuge is a small benchtop device that can be used to quickly centrifuge samples on a small scale. The rotor accelerates to 6000 rpm, which corresponds to 2000 x g.
For years, the choice between manual and automated cell counting has been a difficult one. Manual cell counting can be accurate, but time-consuming and user-dependent. A single cell count can be performed in less than three seconds. Automated cell counting with the Corning Cell Counter is much faster and less user-dependent, but the cost of disposable counting slides can be an issue. A tough choice, but now there is an affordable solution.
The light, ergonomic, motorized Corning Stripettor is designed for use with glass and plastic serological pipets from 0.5 to 100 mL. Conveniently positioned switches change operating modes and speeds quickly to handle different liquid volumes and various viscosities. Aspirating and dispensing speed is controlled through the finger triggers. When fully charged, the batteries enable up to 8 hours of continuous use. The large LCD display clearly indicates battery status, pipetting mode, and speed.
