Cedarlanes Lympholyte® Cell Separation Medium provides an elegant and straightforward solution for the isolation of living lymphocytes from mouse, rat, rabbit, human and other mammalian cell populations from peripheral blood and a variety of lymphoid cell suspensions/tissues. During separation, erythrocytes as well as dead cells and cell debris are largely removed, thus reducing contamination of the obtained cell population.
For example, Lympholyte®-M is used to eliminate erythrocytes, dead cells and debris from spleen, lymph nodes, thymus and bone marrow of mice. The resulting cell population shows a high and non-selective yield of living lymphocytes, which can serve as target cells in flow cytometry assays, cytotoxicity, in-vivo and in-vitro studies.
