Background: Dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP4), also known as adenosine deaminasecomplexing protein 2, is a serine exopeptidase that cleaves X-proline dipeptides from theN-terminus of polypeptides. DPP4 plays a key role in glucose metabolism, immuneregulation, signal transduction and apoptosis.

Description: The Fluorogenic DPP4 Assay Kit isdesigned to measure DPP4 activity using purified DPP4 for screening and profiling applications. The key to the Fluorogenic DPP4 Assay Kitis the specific, fluorogenic substrate. Using this kit, only one simple step on a microtiterplate is required for DPP4 reactions; no time-consuming washing steps are required. The DPP fluorometric substrate is incubated with asample containing DPP4 enzyme to produce a fluorophore that can then be measuredusing a fluorescence reader.
Storage Stability: At least 12 months from date of receipt, when stored as directed. Kit components require different storage conditions. Be sure to store each component at the proper temperature upon arrival.
Supplied As: Supplied in a convenient 96-well format, with purified DPP4 enzyme, DPP substrate, and DPP assay buffer for 100 enzyme reactions.
Warnings: Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
