Immunogen: Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase [Leuconostoc mesenteroides]
Physical State: Lyophilized
Purity and Specificity: This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by a delipidation and defibrination. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-goat serum, purified and partially purified Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase [Leuconostoc mesenteroides]. Cross reactivity against Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase from other tissues and species may occur but have not been specifically determined.
Background: Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase catalyzes the oxidation of glucose 6-phosphate to 6-phosphogluconolactone. It can utilize either NADP+ or NAD+. This protein is involved in step 1 of the subpathway that synthesizes D-ribulose 5-phosphate from D-glucose 6-phosphate (oxidative stage).
Low Endotoxin: No
Other: User Optimized
