The Szabo-Scandic automation products include several suppliers. In this section you will find products for storage handling, automatic sealing of plate sealers and plates compatible with BioTek devices (BioStack) and plate incubator (BioSpa).

Microplate Stacker

The BioStack is a compact and flexible microplate stacker. The unique plate carrier design enables faster throughput of microplates for higher performance of plates and thus more efficient productivity. The rotating gripper can set plates in "Portrait" or "Landscape" format and facilitates ergonomic positioning in the working area or implementation in robotic streets.

Microplate incubator

The BioSpa 8 Incubator connects BioTek plate readers (including Cytation models) with a dispenser or washer for complete workflow automation of up to 8 microplates. Real-time control, continuous temperature, CO₂/O₂ and humidity monitoring ensure ideal conditions for cell culture experiments at all stages of the process with minimal user intervention. The BioSpa software provides text and e-mail alerts for quick control of both process and system status, eliminating the need for end-to-end on-the-spot monitoring. Microplates are automatically transported from the incubation chamber to a plate reader and / or a liquid handler.
