Additional info: The antibody does not stain non-cornified squamous epithelia, except cornea and transitional epithelial regions, with the exception of basal cell layers of some stratified epithelia (ref. 1). In immunoblotting experiments the antibody was shown to recognize only cytokeratin no. 13 (54 kDa).
