Products from BPS Bioscience require a minimum order value above 400€
Encompassing Amino Acids: 2-end
Applications: Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling.
Assay Conditions: MTAP activity wasmeasured using a xanthine oxidase-coupledmethod. MTA cleavage by MTAP produceadenine, which is then converted to 2,8-dihydroxyadenine by xanthine oxidase, leading to an increase in absorbance at 305nm. 50 µl reaction mixtures contained MTAP,50 mM KHsub>2PO4, pH 7.4, 200 µM MTA, 0.02units Xanthine Oxidase, and 1 mM DTT.Activity was measured at 37°C by continuousmonitoring the absorbance at 305 nm for 30min.
