Ephrin-B proteins are involved in cell migration, tissue morphogenesis and cancer progression. Ephrin-B2 is expressed by vascular cells and lymphatic endothelium, exercing proliferative and migratory effects on these cells during angiogenesis and lymphangiogenesis.
