Additional info: Adrenomedullin is a potent vasorelaxing and hypotensive peptide, originally isolated from human pheochromocytoma. Adrenomedullin shares some homology with CGRP (calcitonin gene-related peptide). The antiserum was raised using synthetic peptides as immunogens.
