Clone: Polyclonal
Background: Alkylphenols are used as starting material for the production of surface active substances, detergents, pesticides, paints, textile and paper. It is released during production and use of these products. Alkylphenols are recognized as endocrine disruptors, in particular estrogenic endocrine disruptors. A highly comparable compound is octylphenol.
Immunogen: BSA-C8-alkylphenol conjugate
Source: Rabbit immune serum
Specificity: Target: Alkylphenols (a family of comparable compounds; as an example nonylphenol is given), CAS no.: 104-40-5, Solubility target: alcoholsThe antibody was tested for specificity using 2 conjugates: BSA-C6-AP and BSA-C8-AP
