Background: The defined antibody activity is to horseradish peroxidase as tested in gel immunodiffusion techniques. In precipitating techniques as immunoelectrophoresis and single and double radial immunodiffusion (Mancini, Ouchterlony) immunonephelometry and in solid phase methodology.
Source: Highly purified peroxidase isolated from horseradish. Freund’s complete adjuvant is used in the first step of the immunization procedure.
Specificity: Precipitating polyclonal Rabbit antiSerum to Horseradish peroxidase.
Formulation: Purified hyperimmune rabbit IgG lyophilized from a solution in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.2) No preservative added. IgG concentration in the antiserum is 10 mg/ml. No foreign proteins added.
