Background: GAPDH is constitutively expressed at high levels in almost all tissues and cell lines making it ideal for use as a loading control marker in immunoblots. Independent of its glycolytic activity it is also involved in membrane trafficking in the early secretory pathway.
Immunogen: Synthetic peptide derived from the human GAPDH alpha protein.
Purification Method: Ammonium Sulfate Precipitation.
Formulation: Provided as solution in phosphate buffered saline with 0.08% sodium azide.
