Background: The antiserum is reacting with the Fab subunit of intact IgG, IgA and IgM and other Ig classes of both light chain types, with their Fab or F(ab’)2 subunits and with free light chains of kappa and lambda type as tested in immunoelectrophoresis and double radial immunodiffusion. In immunoelectrophoresis and double radial immunodiffusion to identify the presence of Fab, free or bound.
Source: Purified Fab of normal human IgG. Freund’s complete adjuvant is used in the first step of the immunization procedure.
Specificity: Precipitating polyclonal Rabbit antiSerum to Human Fab of IgG.
Formulation: Delipidated, heat inactivated, lyophilized, stable whole serum. No preservative added. Total protein and IgG concentrations in the antiserum are comparable to those of normal pooled rabbit serum. No foreign proteins added.
