Background: PTEN (phosphatase and tensin homolog) is a phosphatidylinositol-3,4,5-triphosphate 3-phosphatase that has been identified as a tumor suppressor. PTEN is a dual specificity tyrosine and serine/threonine phosphatase that preferentially dephosphorylates phosphoinositide substrates and negatively regulates the AKT/PKB signaling pathway. Through its action, PTEN has been shown to modulate cell cycle progression, cell survival, cell migration, cell adhesion, and insulin signaling.
Immunogen: Between 353 and C-terminus
