Background: To sensitize cells in haemolytic complement assays and for screening of T and T receptor-bearing lymphocytes.
Source: Washed whole erythrocytes were prepared from fresh blood and used for intravenous immunization. Freund’s complete adjuvant is used in the first step of the immunization procedure.
Specificity: IgG fraction of polyclonal Rabbit antiSerum to Sheep erythrocytes.
Formulation: Purified hyperimmune rabbit IgG lyophilized from a solution in phosphate buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.2). No preservative added. Homologous proteins of different species frequently share antigenic determinants. Cross-reactivity has not been tested.
