Antigen Long Description: The original antibody was generated by immunizing llamas with mammalian IgG antibodies and Fc fragments, creating the appropriate phage display library, and panning against the original target.

Specificity Statement: This antibody is specific for the mammalian IgG-Fc domain. It was tested for and found to bind the human IgG-Fc domain (all subclasses). In a cross-reactivity test, it did not bind mouse, bovine, rat, Syrian hamster, guinea pig, dog, cat, goat, or sheep IgG-Fc.
Application Notes (Clone): The reactivity of the original version of this antibody (camelid (llama) VHH) was tested using ELISA. It was found to bind only the human IgG-Fc domain. Its binding to human, mouse, and bovine IgG was also tested via chromatography, confirming its specificity to human IgG (US9040666B2).
