CloneID: IgG-Fc-16
Antigen Long Description: The original antibody was generated by immunizing llamas with mammalian IgG antibodies and Fc fragments, creating the appropriate phage display library, and panning against the original target.
Buffer Composition: PBS with 0.02% Proclin 300.
Chimeric Use Statement: This is a chimeric antibody, developed from the original camelid VHH antibody, specifically engineered for enhanced compatibility with existing reagents, assays, and techniques.
Available Custom Conjugation Options: AP, HRP, Fluorescein, APC, PE, Biotin Type A, Biotin Type B, Streptavidin, FluoroProbes 647H, Atto488, APC/Cy7, PE/Cy7
Specificity Statement: This antibody is specific for the mammalian IgG-Fc domain. It was tested for and found to bind the human IgG-Fc domain (all subclasses). In a cross-reactivity test, it also bound bovine, mouse, rat, rabbit, dog, cat, swine, sheep, Chimpanzee, Rhesus macaque, donkey, horse, goat, Syrian hamster, and guinea pig IgG-Fcs.
Application Notes (Clone): The reactivity of the original version of this antibody (camelid (llama) VHH) was tested using ELISA. Its binding affinity (KD) was measured using SPR and was found to be 13.1, 6.81, 16.2, 21.3, 1.70, 2.79, and 8.41 nM for human IgG, human IgG1, human IgG2, human IgG3, human IgG4, bovine IgG, and mouse IgG, respectively. Its binding to human, mouse, and bovine IgG was further verified via chromatography testing; the dynamic binding capacity of the antibody when immobilized onto NHS sepharose was 11.5 mg human IgG/ml matrix (US9040666B2).
