Antigen Long Description: The original antibody was generated by immunizing BALB/c mice with recombinant SFTSV glycoprotein N (WCH97 strain).

Buffer Composition: PBS only.

Uniprot Accession No.: A0A0B5A886

Specificity Statement: This antibody binds the severe fever and thrombocytopenic syndrome virus glycoprotein N. Severe Fever with Thrombocytopenia Syndrome (SFTS) is an emerging infectious disease caused by the SFTS virus which is transmitted to humans through the bite of an infected tick. Most patients have symptoms such as fever, low platelet count and leukopenia, and may also have symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, muscle pain, lymphatic enlargement, and bleeding. Recently, first case of human-to-human transmission of SFTS virus was reported in Japan.

Application Notes (Clone): This antibody binds SFTSV glycoprotein N in a dose dependent manner in an ELISA. This antibody can be used to identify SFTSV Gn in a western blot. This antibody can also be used for immunofluorescence staining of SFTSV infected Vero cells. In vitro, this antibody is capable of neutralizing SFTSV-VSV pseudo-virus infected Vero cells. This antibody was also capable of neutralizing wild type virus infections for strains QD02 and WCH97 with an IC50 of 1.7μg/mL and 0.4μg/mL respectively (CN117964748).
