Difluorinated cyclooctyne (DIFO) reagents rapidly reacts with azides in living cells without the need for copper catalysis[1]. Difluorocyclooctyne-CH2-COOH is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Alkyne group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing Azide groups.
