Notes: Usmarapride is a partial agonist of the serotonin (5-HT) receptor subtype 5-HT4.{51648} It induces reporter gene expression in CHO cells expressing recombinant human 5-HT4E receptors (EC50 = 44 nM). In vivo, usmarapride (1 and 3 mg/kg) increases novel object exploration time in rats. It also reverses scopolamine-induced memory deficits in rats when administered at doses of 1, 3, and 10 mg/kg.
