Product Description: Cyanidin 3-sambubioside-5-glucoside is a major anthocyanidin isolated from the fruits of Sambucus canadensis, and its structure has been determined by chemical degradation, chromatography and spectroscopic analysis (particularly 2D NMR). This compound occupies a large proportion (22.7%) in these fruits and belongs to the anthocyanidin class of compounds with potential antioxidant and other biological activities[1].
