Notes: DU-14 is a steroid sulfatase inhibitor (IC50 = 55.8 nM).{49827} It inhibits the proliferation of MCF-7 breast cancer cells (IC50 = 38.7 nM).{49828} In vivo, DU-14 (30 mg/kg), in combination with the steroid precursor dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEAS; Item No. 15873), potentiates DHEAS reversal of scopolamine-induced amnesia in the passive avoidance test in rats.{49827} It also prevents scopolamine-induced amnesia in the passive avoidance test in rats when administered at a dose of 30 mg/kg per day.{49829}
