Small molecules form a heterogeneous counter-group to substances with a high molecular weight such as long-chain polymers. Due to their small size, these compounds are often able to penetrate directly into cells and act there, which is why the majority of drugs belong to this class of molecules, whether of natural (e.g. secondary metabolites) or artificial (e.g. many antivirals) origin. We offer a wide range of antibiotics, protein-, phosphatase-, RNase- and apoptosis inhibitors and activators as well as various inhibitors of signal transduction pathways.
