JTE-607 binds to cleavage and polyadenylation-specific factor 3 (CPSF3), an enzyme involved in 3’-end processing of pre-mRNA, in cell-free assays and induces accumulation of CXCL8 pre-mRNA in LPS-stimulated SC cells.{62808} In vivo, JTE-607 (0.3-10 mg/kg, i.v.) reduces LPS-induced mortality in a C. parvum-sensitized mouse model of endotoxic shock.{62807}
