Amino Acid Sequence: SGRG-K(Ac)-GG-K(Ac)-GLG-K(Ac)-GGA-K(Ac)-RHRKVGG-K(Biotin)

Applications: Useful for the study of bromodomain binding assays, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. It is a component of several BPS Bioscience BRD Assay Kits.

Background: Bromodomains function as acetyl-lysine binding domains, and bromodomain/ acetyl-lysine recognition can regulate histone modification, DNA replications, chromatin remodeling, and gene transcription.

Concentration: 20 µM

Description: The BET Bromodomain Ligand is peptide histone H4 (1-21), acetylated at lysine 5, 8, 12 and 16. It contains a C-terminal GG linker, followed by a biotinylated Lys. This peptide is suitable for use as a ligand for several bromodomains including members of the BET bromodomain family: BRD2, BRD3, BRD4, and BRDT. It also binds to several other bromodomains which are not included in the BET bromodomain family.

Format: Aqueous buffer solution

Purity: ≥95%

Storage Stability: At least 6 months from date of receipt, when stored as directed

Supplied As: 20 µM aqueous solution

Warnings: Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.

Biosafety Level: Not applicable (BSL-1)
