Other Performance Data: Endotoxin Level: Measured by kinetic LAL analysis and is typically ≤ 1 EU/μg protein. Biologic Activity: The activity is determined by the ability to chemoattract human neutrophils at concentrations between 10-100 ng/mL.

Physical State: Lyophilized

Purity and Specificity: Gro-beta (CXCL2) purity was determined to be greater than 98% as determined by HpLC and by reducing and non-reducing SDS-pAGE.

Background: Three human MGSA/GRO genes encode 3 highly related chemokines, MGSA/GRO α, -β and -g. All 3 MGSA/GRO proteins bind to the same receptors, but with differing affinities, and stimulate a number of biological responses including chemotaxis, angiogenesis, and growth regulation. Recombinant human GROβ is a non-glycosylated protein, containing 73 amino acids, with a molecular weight of 7.9 kDa.

Low Endotoxin: Yes

Other: User Optimized
