Clone Name: GT1314

Application Note: WB: 1:500 - 1:2000. *Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the researcher. Not tested in other applications.

Calculated MW: 60

Specificity/Sensitivity: Based on sequence homology, this antibody may cross with other Src family members such as YES1 , FYN proteins when phosphorylated at the equivalent sites.

Form: Liquid

Buffer (with preservative): PBS, 0.05% BSA, 50% Glycerol, 0.02% Sodium azide.

Concentration: 0.19 mg/ml (Please refer to the vial label for the specific concentration.)

Background: This gene is highly similar to the v-src gene of Rous sarcoma virus. This proto-oncogene may play a role in the regulation of embryonic development and cell growth. The protein encoded by this gene is a tyrosine-protein kinase whose activity can be inhibited by phosphorylation by c-SRC kinase. Mutations in this gene could be involved in the malignant progression of colon cancer. Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot ID: P12931

Antigen Species: Human

Immunogen: A phospho specific peptide corresponding to residues surrounding Y419 of human Src. The Tyr419 of human Src (with Met) is equivalent to Tyr416 of chicken Src (without Met).

Purification: Purified by affinity chromatography

Conjugation: Unconjugated

Full Name: SRC proto-oncogene, non-receptor tyrosine kinase
